It also depends not only the exchange rate but the rate that the company actually gets from USD to AUD, but the real thing is when they exchange it too.
Another interesting thing would be if the next dividend becomes a "return on capital" (tax free) should that in theory set a precedence for prior dividend payments that are tied to the court case linked to restitution from Tanzania (same reason why shareholders are getting the dividend in the first place)...

Just a very interesting thought since why should one payment be tax free and not the others.
