My understanding was that market interest in the 3M relationship 2010 with OBJ was about the prospect of 3M commercialising the 'eM patch' rather than 3M being engaged as a 'contract manufacturer' for OBJ.

The relationship with 3M is certainly not a 'failure' if you measure 'success' by whether a manufacturer is capable and willing to make something they are paid to make.

Maybe in future, 3M will make other great stuff for OBJ, or our partners, but I'm interested in companies who might licence tech from OBJ to incorporate in their new products - and pay us!

My earlier post was to express the opinion that OBJ has become progressively better equipped in a lot of respects to make something of the fresh NK collaboration, beyond Bodyguard, and perhaps have a more productive crack at patches - when nothing came of the previous attempt made with 3M.
