it would seem that the 2 big growers in tasmania, tas alkaloid and sun pharma, have indicated a dramatic fall in hectares planted in the upcoming season, due to inventory levels being too high. this will leave open the likelihood that tpe will for the first time be the biggest planter in tas. perhaps as much as 4-5000 hectares...and importantly....the good land will be available not the crap. 4000 hectares would equate to 65 tonnes of product at average yields not including victoria...which would hopefully amount to 2000 hectares producing another 30 tonnes or so at the yields recently reported....100 tonnes would equal $25 mill in ebitda...this is before any imported straw....this is a game changing season potentially for tpe... definately not priced into the stock at $2.79.i guess well know in a few weeks when we see how many hectares get planted
