Given there is no loan been made available, as yet, and mining equipment still in China waiting to be ordered, let alone purchased, I find Senegal governments' description of Bassari as a 'mining giant' stretching their credibility.
I would look at it as more of a marketing statement to entice potential investors to their country. Any one or, entity investigating Bassari as a 'mining giant' would be scratching their heads, given the sources of information available to them.
