    Product Development Engineer
    We are focused on the design, development, manufacture and supply of drug delivery solutions for biotechnology and pharmaceutical customers. Our engineers generate and commercialize ideas and concepts for new products, product enhancements and product customization. We have roles ranging from product design and development to process engineering, manufacturing, automation, operations, supply chain and quality. Key elements of the roles include:
    • Designing and developing our next generation of drug delivery solutions
    • Performing complex engineering analysis of new device designs
    • Developing and executing test protocols, documenting results, and ensuring quality standards
    • Designing and implementing pilot scale and high speed manufacturing equipment in our state-of-the-art cleanrooms
    • Developing and implementing processes for assembly of new devices

    DUTIES: Manage the global supply chain and logistics for Unilife’s pre-filled syringe business. Develop and execute supply chain strategy. Develop and manage infrastructure and systems to support the rapid growth of Unilife’s pre-filled syringe business. Manage procurement of components, including purchase order placement and fulfillment. Negotiate and lead execution of supply and quality agreements with vendors. Manage and develop partnerships and relationships with vendors, suppliers, and contractors for new and existing products. Ensure supplier quality and manage supplier quality improvement programs. Manage warehousing and distribution. Manage inventory and forecasting. May be assigned to various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field. 24 months experience in job offered or related occupation. Experience must include: 1) SAP Business Objects; 2) Data Mining using SQL; 3) Supply Chain Financial Reporting using MS Visual Basic and Macros; 4) Cost Engineering Analysis (Advanced Excel analytics); 5) Global sourcing and risk mitigation; 6) Inbound logistics and compliance; and 7) Demand and Supply Planning and modeling for NPI (New Product Introduction).     Quality Control Specialist or Technician
    Quality Control Specialists and Technicians support product development teams and current production by ensuring that Quality Control documentation is completed properly and by completing Quality Control projects. Quality Control Specialists and Technicians ensure that product development and production teams comply with quality system requirements by performing quality control tests and by reviewing and completing quality documentation accurately and completely. The ideal candidate would be a highly-skilled laboratory technician who is a pragmatic problem-solver and innovator and who has a thorough understanding of FDA regulations and ISO standards for medical device product development and manufacturing, as well as cGMPs for medical devices. The ideal candidate would understand measurement systems analysis and gauge R&R and be able to use related tools and equipment, and have strong mathematical and statistical skills in order to recommend and apply the appropriate statistical tools for data analysis, as well as good technical writing skills.
