On the subject of egos, my understanding was that PB was prepared to meet without lawyers involved. Assuming he was genuine on this, I then wonder why GW was so adamant on having lawyers present. If GW attended the meeting and found that the course of the discussion or subject matter warranted legal representation could he not just have ended the meeting and reported back accordingly?
IMO both sides seemed reluctant to actually have a "face to face".
