       I know you are merely quoting, just wunderin : whence one closes out futures I thought it was buying to closie

    or supplying the commodity. I have never traded futures , but have OATS. The dough is up front but may be held in escroe.

    Please ,for all readers ,let's get the "forward sales" thing properly understood.
