I have posted my opinion when SP was $10, in Chinese, and I was indicated the sp will drop below $7 or even less.
First, my conclusion remains the same: Daigou will not come back, A2 is still a good company however the forecast revenue will not support the sp.
Second, China has announced new child policy which allow couples to have 3 children, however this policy will not support baby formulas market at all.
For most mid class Chinese, who is the major buyer of Australian baby milk productions, they cannot afford to have 3 babies. In fact, most young Chinese couple decided to have only one child or even none.
Look at Australia and other counties such as U.S, Japan and S. Korean, the same thing is happening: reducing birth rate and less motivation to marry and have babies.
A2’s sp will not have significant increase, however once the sp drop to reasonable level and announce dividend, it’s still a good company to invest.
$5 is still a little bit expensive.
Let’s have patient and see.
