tretchikoff and others, no doubt there are plenty of other views regarding this issue. Don't get me wrong, the Internet is a fantastic tool, but is is ONLY a tool. So far, it has no intelligence, that's what you pay executives for.
I own three businesses which I manage day to day. The largest would fold tomorrow if it were not for the global www. We live and breathe by the web.
The other two wouldn't do any better or any worse (accepting email as a given for all three). Frankly you can get good websites for peanuts. Maintaining them is a pain though, simply because there is always something a damn site more important to do.
My point is simply that RIGHT NOW, CXY's strategy does not need a fancy website. You might ask why LNC has a fancy site . . but then you'd only need to look at who runs it . . and imagine what happens when an ego runs away. As it happens Metex would be a better comparator in my opinion. Informative to a point but not the fancy pants of other players.
