Query: Rumour that management in siphoning money out on company via refurbishments.
Chair answered that rumours are always present and these are unfounded.
Query: What is the plan for the dividend and dividend policy.
CEO replied that it will be discussed at the next board meeting.
After meeting queries to auditor and replies:
Audit team from Australia is present in China for the audits.
Auditor verifies the cash balances directly with the bank and confirms it is correct. Held in an everyday account.
Auditor verifies that refurbishment payments as well as other payments to suppliers are at arms length and no conflict of interest or links to management team.
Auditor also visits some physical store locations during each audit.
