Im no expert on this so happy to be corrected by anyone who is. But it is my understanding that assays alone do not necessarily constitute material information. The data needs to be sufficient for the company to make geological conclusions and report as per Jorc requirements. I think there are exceptions. If they pulled up a hole with a 50m intercept at high grade this would of course be material. But I think it's a bit crazy to think every bit of data is a sensational market sensitive in itself. This is first pass, shallow drilling, in iron ore country. Once they've got all the data and analyse it they will have a clearer picture to present to the market.
having said that. I would have preferred the company communication on this to be better, but perhaps planned changed for good reasons. They know more than us, I don't think it's fair to immediately assume the company has just disregarded shareholders. My experience in calling the company to discuss a few points has been a company eager to engage with shareholders.
