Option, excellent comments. Several posters have commented that Ken seems to be a nice guy and a convincing orator. Maybe so, but actions speak louder than words. To date, NEN has been a very slow pony. Even with valuable assets (mainly Vietnam, Calif still uncertain), a company is worth little until it realises that value through certified reserves and ultimately real production.
One partial explanation for Neon's slow progress is that I assume it contracts drilling equipment rather than owns it in Calif. I recall from other junior oilers that securing this equipment can take time. Also, i think one poster said Oxy was tying up a lot of equipment in the area.
TaneNui, NEN might need a few pointers on disclosure, but i think they also need more aggressive goal setting and action-orientation (with safety still a priority).
