But where are they going to get even 50pj per annum without WCL?

As regards them citing this diluted price of 53c, that to me is just a bit of posturing to keep the WCL share price in check. If and when they do make another offer they want to be able to say it is 30% over the 5 day vwap etc so it is in their interests to talk this the WCL sp down in any way they can.

I don't think anyone believes that such a price will be accepted.
And if LNG are 'dreamin', I would hope WCL tell them just that and get on with negotiating a supply deal with whoever wants the gas when we come of contract in 2014.
