I personally think LNG maybe in no hurry.
I am guessing that they are looking for several alternatives for their supply of gas. With both Conoco and BG stating that they are in no rush to fully expand their Gladstone facilities, gives LNG an option perhaps to enter a agreement with them for a supply of any gas surplus that they may have.
You have to wonder why LNG didn't react to stop the spp going through by making a formal bid for WCL.
