The importance of Defender results are not purelly based on quantity of oil present but more that there is sufficient oil to make the well commercial. Dont forget that this well carries strategic importance ie Halliburton. If the well becomes viable to pump, then Halliburton will be more likely to develop the region with Samson.

Samson's update on the well: "the forward plan for this well is to install the down hole pump and prepare the well for production operations". This sounds to me that we are getting closer to proving the area. This is what is important in my view.
