here is an update on my previous emails with Animate`s Director Mr.Koster.

It is looking very promising. DYOR

    My email was:

    "Good Afternoon Mr Koster,

It is very pleasing and great to see your expert drive behind a potentially new "blockbuster" product.
Just a quick check how are those trials evolving and what is the product of Stirling called you are trialling? Is it the ST810 (is it also called R-Salbutamol?)?"

    His Reply:

"Trials start 10 May, currently animals are in adaptation phase. Yes it is ST810."

    My Reply:

"Thank you for your prompt reply, as you must have had a lot of emails waiting for you on your return for your travels. Just one more question if I may. So does this ST810 work? I believe it is an animal growth promotion agent to replace the use of human antibiotics and steroids currently used as growth promoters in the meat production industry."

    His Reply:

"It did work quite well in initial commercial studies where we tested it against another competitor product. We are however in the stage of sorting out levels and feeding periods and evaluating it under a controlled situation how well the product performs against no product as well as against the competitor product. It does not replace antibiotics or steroid but is a partitioning agent that takes the energy components of the feed in the final 30-40 days and uses it for protein deposition in the muscle rather than fat (which is ineffective growth). Therefore less fat is formed, and more muscle (meat). Higher slaughtering % is the result (approximately 5 kg more meat on carcass) and therefore more profit for feedlot.
