It may well be that Anvil will take advantage of present slump in market to take over promising fields which other developing, small companies will no longer be able to get off the ground because of the Sub-prime affect on finance throughout the world.

There must be many opportunities in the present climate for cashed up companies such as Anvil.

Then again after the past difficulty Anvil had in trying to obtain finance to commence mining at Dikulushi, which when obtained from from "a source of last resort" proved very expensive indeed, one would not be surprised to find management is keen to avoid borrowing again or is not keen to issue more shares for raising necessary funding.

A maiden dividend however would be most welcome - but most unlikely in the next two years.
