As some say, this could go lower, and has dropped under $1.70. Currently down 25% from where it ended yesterday.
I got some at $1.73 but if it gets down to $1.50 region I would be tempted to get some more. That could happen next month when tax loss selling goes ballistic, or if the POG takes a major tumble.
Down the track if they pay a 15 cent dividend in future years then the pre-tax dividend yield on what I paid is a very nice 8.7%. Grossing it up for company tax get me over 12%. I guess there is a risk with respect to the dividend - both up and down.
I am heartened by the fact that they have not increased the amount drawn down. Plus I am still hoping the AUD comes down to 85 cents.
