    I haven't posted for a while....

For a great overview on the current position of RIV and others involved in the Moatize Basin, have a read of this report:

Another company with tenaments next to Vale and Riversdale is South African miner CAMEC:

Their share price is way down and may be a good opportunity to get further exposure to these Mozambique coal resources.

ON ANOTHER POINT: I am very keen on the barging solution for Riversdale, as it represents so much potential value to the company...

    10 m/t p.a. x $12 (difference of rail cost/mt = $ 20 v. barge cost $8) x a valuation of 5 times

$ 600M just on the freight differencial! Current market cap. is around $1,700M. Just on the freight difference there is about $ 3.25 per share value.

I'm not trying to ramp this share as I am a definite LT holder. Traders should have got out at $ 12. I do not believe that we will see big surges in the price of RIV, given the uncertainty of current comodity prices, in the short term. There will however, be big gains, as mining infrustucture is put in place and transport issues resolved.

There is a hell of alot of work to do on this project, and this is not done overnight......bere this in mind if you are looking at the share price on a daily basis.

    Good luch to all holders!!
