Guys, FYI,
I can post anyway I like to according to the rules stated by Hot Copper as a company rep.
I simply choose not to. The experiment has definitely not failed. I have restructured the terms of operation and QBL support my decision.
For some background: I have seen company CEO's and reps come on before and it has been an aboslute dismal failure because they got too emotionally involved. They either leave or are asked to leave.
I felt, for this experiment, the best way to have it work for those who were interested, was to simply post answers from management and if I had to post an occasional post to clarify a point, I would do that. That was in the post the other night which a poster just referenced.
Whether posters like it or not, company reps can provide and do provide important factual information to help people make decisions about their investments. People do listen to what others say in here.
I totally agree that you need both sides of the debate to make sure you get a good picture. That is the grounds for a good debate, and sometimes the contrarians are right, but you must also DYOR on that side of the equation as well.
HotCopper is a good place to get lots of information and misinformation. QBL wants to continue the experiment as long as I am willing to man the post. I read the mood of the room over the last 7 to 10 days. I realize there can be delays in announcements, which can affect the share price when people get impatient, and I made a call to not over swamp the room with information. That is my role. also. I informed the management that we should try the next phase of the experiment which was 7 days of Q & A's following a PS Announcement. We would do that a couple of times and re-assess again.
I thank all those people who accept information from the company. We will continue to do our best and not be concerned by those who choose to disagree. They have that right. We have also been grateful to HC that they have allowed this to run under their close supervision.
