Update on Drill Rig Movements
New Guinea Energy Limited (?NGE?) is pleased to advise that the MV Hiri Chief departed Townsville on the evening of June 3rd 2010 with ADS Rig 6 and other equipment totalling approximately 700 tons. Due to a late change in instructions, the vessel will now clear PNG Customs in Port Moresby.
Once Customs has been cleared, the vessel will proceed to Panakawa in conjunction with the MV Goada Chief loaded with drilling mud, cement and casing.
ADS? Rig # 6 is on its way to the Panakawa Prospect in NGE?s 100% owned PPL 267 in order to commence the drilling program on the Panakawa -1 well.
An updated timetable will be provided once customs clearance has been completed in Port Moresby.
