Clinicians are expected to observe guidelines. In other words, the past sales performance of the co prior to these endorsements cannot be extrapolated to future sales. One would expect acceptance and uptake of the technology because of the guidelines and not just because of whim or marketing efforts (the latter will obviously still play a role but less so for technology in fields that is not evidence-based).
