mirrors my analysis of the current situation, saintex. No one in their right financial mind, private or developer, have the stomach to build (with the exception of the uber rich), so the supply deficit continues - a saving grace for the mortgage stressed exiting the market. Certainly, an uptick in investors leaving the market, but not enough of a stampede to have much of a negative effect on the sector, and a positive for the aspiring owner/occupiers that have been waiting in the wings. Indeed, I'm starting to see the Gen-Zeders with sound employment and good incomes saying: 'I can't wait any longer to enter the market, I want to start a family, so I'm in the market to buy.' With that dynamic my workload has been much busier of late.
All that said, it's a convoluted market with tenants continuing to be the principal losers.
