I think privacy and discretion are quite important in these negotiations. In this instance I don't think its a conspiracy its just normal business practice in these matters. They have to be done in this fashion.
The timeframe may not suit eager shareholders but it probably is best to be done in a methodical, private fashion.
Some testing of faith may be needed. Shareholders at this stage do not have any control over matters and would be best to be calm and patient as hard as that can be sometimes.
