i agree with your comments and have also read the posts in relation to SG's apparent lack of expertise in communication. Granted, this aspect of management has always leaned on the negative side but one needs to ask oneself if this is more important then a inadequate operator.

We have all been invested in firms with great orators but no operational expertise whatsoever. With SG, i have experienced this type of release with Orchard Petroleum. He is more of a strategist and operator rather than a gifted communicator. He lets his actions speak louder...

The problem is that this character disposition is not suiting the current economic [volatile] environment where investors need to be reassured on a daily basis. The fear factor post GFC is still prevalent.

As for me, i am constantly topping up on GGPO as i believe that it will be a 'deja vu' experience. Though not as lucrative as the previous.
