I remember when I consulted to SANTOS in the mid 90s they were still trying to obtain a high quality formation water sample from The Toolachee Fm in order to refine log interp pay figures.
Wireline log readings are not real world readings of the rock and fluids contained within then until you have real rock and fluid samples with which to calibrate your log data.
