Creso Pharma’s AGM resolutions released last Friday take us deep into the unusual world of penny pot stocks promoted by paid researchers, online tip sheets, and even the chairman and major shareholder’s own corporate advisory house.
The medicinal cannabis player is looking to raise funds for an acquisition, clinical trials, and what it calls the ramping up of its nutraceutical division. Fairfax Media
Creso is co-founded and chaired byAdam Blumenthalwho via a holding group named Atlantic Capital owned 14.6 per cent of the group in February.
Sydneysider Blumenthal is also the chairman of family-run corporate adviser and penny stock fund raiser EverBlu Capital, which scored the role of lead manager in an $18 million capital raising for Creso back in March, with Blumenthal always disclosing his interest in both.
EverBlu earned a 6 per cent cash fee ($1.08 million) on the raising and Creso is now seeking shareholder approval at its June 24 AGM to issue another 3.6 million shares and 12.6 million options to EverBlu for its work at Blumenthal’s other business Creso.
Last May EverBlu also received cash and 4.5 million shares for its role as the lead manager of a convertible notes issue to fund manager L1 Capital on behalf of Creso.

We previously revealed Ellingford earned his “doctorate in management”, which is also sometimes known as the University of Action Learning. Its parent organisation now appears defunct and was described in 2008 by the Times Educational Supplement as a then unaccredited, nominally British online university based in Vanuatu.
Others to tip into Creso’s raising at 19¢ include active stock promoter S3 Capital, also known as StocksDigital, which already held some 4.3 million shares or nearly 0.5 per cent of the Creso Pharma register last February.and the latter boasts to readers it entered into Creso in December 2020 at 12¢ per share.

You are right of course, though it is the only way for those (which should be most holders) of us to express their disgust at the way our $$'s are being bandied about for some folk to line their own pockets.
Hard to believe a company is allowed to be run this way, with a definite conflict of interest for Adam and Darrin. Laughing all the way to the bank those 2.
Quite shameful really.
