Justice Finkelstein brought down a ruling last week, which effectively said that the SLA between Beconwood and Opes, transferred all ownership of Beconwood's shares to Opes/ANZ at the time of transfer. Note, he made no comment on the equity of such an arrangement. In fact, he said in the 26 page ruling, that the equitable rights would be decided on another day. So, despite the rot that appears in the media, understand that the Judge made a ruling in relation to a very narrow issue...ie did the agreement pass ownership to ANZ at the time of the transfer. In other words, when Beconwood transferred over $7m of shares to the Opes platform, they lost all title and all ownership to those assets.
Watch and wait !
There is a very large overhang in this stock. In my humble opinion that is the single reason for its current standing.
