Reports such as this that take years and millions in public moneys given in large amounts to mainly buddies and no hopers and have never ever proved anything are becoming ever more commonplace. Royal commissions that pay the "right" people thousands PER DAY. In Qld there are some 18,000 public servants that do nothing. Newman got rid of about 14,000 of them and nobody noticed. Labour hired them all back plus thousands more. The question to ask is "what are these fraccing experts going to discover?" To fracture the producing formation in a well water is pumped down at high pressure which causes the formation to "fracture" allowing sand particles carried in the water to enter these minute cracks which in turn will hold the formation open just a tad so that gas or oil can flow through more easily. The area covered by the fraccing fluid is so small in comparison to the surrounding areas that it's nearly not there. Also fraccing is done in a zone enclosed on top by an impervious layer that nothing can get through, otherwise the gas or oil would have long ago disappeared. Hydrogen bombs don't cause earthquakes, it's even difficult for a volcano to cause an earthquake let alone a miserly few thousand litres of water being pumped into an already porous formation. What will finally get the attention of left handed green things is when only the wealthy will be able to afford the luxury of energy. Australia already stands out as high sovereign risk and rapidly getting worse. Australia today because of it's policies towards energy is importing over 91% of its' liquid fuels while holding a 3 weeks supply if deliveries fail. If just ONE shipload of fuel did not arrive in Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne there would be fuel rationing within about 4 days.
Australias' energy shortage is past critical... it's perilous.
