Our lawyer has prepared new wills etc. At the same time, we are updating our SMSF Trust Deed. In addition to our draft wills (mostly legal gobbledygook), I expected he would send me a draft Trust Deed. Can others here share their experiences when having an SMSF Trust Deed Updated. Pardon my ignorance on this matter, but do they just prepare an addenda to previous TD or do they do a whole new one. I must say, I am expecting a whole new one. I’m not interested in a ‘generic’ TD, though I do realise solicitors/accountants do order these from organisations online. I want to make sure my TD covers what I am doing in my SMSF ... albeit I also realise that this has to be inside SIS guidelines; however; sometimes there is a difference of interpretation.
