Cape Lambert ups stake in DMC to 60pc, extends offer
The West Australian June 25, 2010, 9:11 am
Cape Lambert has extended its takeover offer for DMC Mining after netting 60.23 per cent of the company.
The Corporation Act means the offer will be extended by 14 days to 5pm on July 8.
The company had been in a bidding war with China's Meijin Energy over DMC, which this week abandoned its pursuit of the target after DMC directors agreed to sell their shares to Cape Lambert.
