What I meant was higher grades are not needed (but welcome of course).
The reason we may not see higher grades overall is because the whole orebody that is considered potentially economic is included in a jorc resource.
So even though they may be hitting even much higher grades at depth, they will likely also include the lower grade halo so the tonnes will increase significantly but not necessarily the average grade.
U/g mining will ignore the deeper lower grade halo and extract the higher grade ore so the high grade core at depth that they are discovering is very important.
