You must be short termers.
It is now not possible to try to go back and get detailed results without huge expense and interruption to the production if this well turns out to be commercial.
I don't know which companies you are referring to Cash in your post but the original plan put forward by NWE for this well and its analysis was the best for the long term viability and development of this resource.
This well was to prove the concept and to gain the technical information drill the production wells.
We are fortunate that it appears that this well will/may turn out to be commercial in its own right. But it would be stupid in the extreme, to jeopardize the long term development of NWE and or the resource to appease the short term goals of traders like yourselves. This is a huge development/resource in the making. Accurate data and not estimates and/or guesses will be the catalyst for investment to the next stages.
