Um blah yea thats just the way the US markets are, its not a real bad move like 50pts is 0.45% the same move on our market is 22 points.
The way I would respond to it is that firstly the US markets are more professional then ours, there is more trading over there, where here it is investing. On the same lines the Dow Jones is made up of the top 30 companies in the US, when one of these companies Intel drops 2.5% on the open the index will suffer and this is what happened.
On our market you have the top 200 companies so something drastic in one company does not have a major effect.
US futures are very dangerous, but US trades are more educated then us and can manage it (no offence to anyone, but its true).
