I know nothing about T/A. Agree with very little of what you write, But suggest you stick to TA.
Here's one eg of which you're wrong:
"On the same lines the Dow Jones is made up of the top 30 companies in the US, when one of these companies Intel drops 2.5% on the open the index will suffer and this is what happened.
On our market you have the top 200 companies so something drastic in one company does not have a major effect."
Each DOW component is equally weighted, i.e. just over 3.3% each. Our 200 cos are weighted on MC (generally), and several individual cos have over 3.3%weighting, making any movement in these cos. MORE pronounced
