It's companies and Government PSU's like NMDC that will prevent India being the global powerhouse they could be.
How does any foreign entity confidently invest in the country when its businesses behave like this?
I'm sure the people of India deserve better, and a structural system that can lead them to prosperity but when you actors have like this, their chances look very slim.
