Yes the EAF plant is not working to design capacity, but output is still “satisfactory”. And yes it should be a lot better, and will cost us a bundle to fix. But as I mentioned before that’s what happens when we hire a contractor to design and construct on the cheap. We've got away with building plants very cheaply before. Stage I Dikulushi comes to mind. But don’t think for a minute that Anvil doesn’t wish the EAF's were better designed and built. They must do.

Finally the sham of a contracts review is over for Kinsevere and Dikulushi and Mutoshi should hopefully be resolved very soon.

It's going to take more than a spoon full of sugar to swallow 4Qtr results.

Therefore I think when the CEO buys C$200,000 worth of shares on the market, it demonstrates both to investors and staff, confidence in the future of the company. We have to try to retain skilled and valuable staff in a very nervous market. We already have had to lose a great many employees, which in monetary terms have cost us dearly in redundancies. We will see how much when those figures are released next month. But we also don’t need critical staff walking out to “more secure” employment with say larger organisations.

So Bill buying a substantial amount of shares demonstrates to retail investors, institutional investors, market analysts and employees. A great degree of confidence in the future of Anvil.

All we can do is hang in there. Things will get better. Regrettably for all of us, it's just going to take a long time.
