The process enhancment step changing from single channel to multi channel pipettes is a rather trivial modification which path lab technicians would probably would have figured out for themselves. I suspect they put that in the announcement to try and show some progress.
The 900 patient trial results with supporting statistics is what you need to be looking for and they still havent started.
