Alas - a very good question....

the answer is (to my knowledge): no one is selling DSO ore from the Darling Ranges - it is all currently being fed into the 4 refineries on location in Perth.

So in effect they are trailblazing but thats not to say they won't have a market for what is considered world-class bauxite ore - it's just that no one has ever considered shipping it as a DSO product.

Obviously, the value-add is to refine the ore and ship alumina but in this climate and with the low set-up costs of a DSO operation, I think they are definitely playing it smart.
