This is remote and in a way frontier territory as the lead times between getting acreage and drilling is in several years. Oil and gas is a messy business, it’s speculative until the drill bit talks and logs confirm what is there. Judging management based on poor results in this business is harsh given the nature of what they do. Getting drills done and with good COS is what it’s about, success normally follows.
