Trying to wrap my head around exactly what went down, so pls bear with me,@FreedomInvestor. As with a lot of stocks at this time of year, liquidity is an issue which, of course, has been exacerbated by the macro environment. The role of the so-called "Market Maker" is to create liquidity... but instead an opportunity for savy traders presented in PTX and IMU as well today. Today's action in PTX though has created a 2c spread now.. Is that what you mean by the Market Makers let the book go? When I first read your post, I thought you meant that the MM were creating a scenario whereby the likes of Aussie Ethical Investments or MIF could buy more than what is on offer (but that's too wishful). Do penny stocks even have MMs or do the professional traders fulfill that role per se (given the nature of our registry) and the state of the current market? Much appreciate your educated opinion, as always.
