At 2:48pm on Friday afternoon PTX had traded a total of 1.97m shares, let's say at an average of .155c. That's a total of $305k spent over the first 5hrs of trade.

Minutes later we see 2.5m shares bought in a single transaction, this grabbed my attention & it was all on from that point onwards.

We then witnessed 7.15m shares traded in the next hour and ten minutes.

If we allow a conservative average of .17c for the 7.15m traded that last hour it equates to $1,215,500.

That is a serious increase in volume. How much can be attributed to retail? Sure there are some quick operators but that quick?

In my opinion some serious institutional investment has flooded in during that last hour hour.

I can't help but think of the CEO of PTX in that recent interview. His face, his body language was just so confident. I'm not talking used car salesperson confident, but someone who is confident enough to talk about combining 2 & 3rd phase trails. If trails had not progressed extremely well, I can't personally see someone sitting as calmly and confidently talking about the exciting future of PTX.

He said the study results are "Imminent".

Regardless of this weeks share price action, I'm sniffing some serious news is coming down the pipes for PTX investors that will put the market cap into another league. I'm assuming many multiples of the current market cap.

The gradual appreciation in share price, imminent news in the CEO's own words, rumblings that the Federal government are going to cut the red tape on clinical trails.

My curiosity is heightened to say the least to see how this stock unfolds over the coming months.

I had to laugh at Friday's action.

13 years ago, after a fairly long liquid Friday lunch in Sydney with a Bell Potter analyst who had been hounding me to get some...I bought my first 2m Nearmap (called Ipernica back then) in a definite BAC induced rush which took the SP from 5.7c to close at 7.5c (it rarely traded more than 800k/d at the time). I bought the remainder of the holdings somewhat more sensibly over the next 2 years.

Instos very rarely rush at a junior like that...and almost never, ever on a Friday afternoon. If someone got 'wind' of some PTX100 or 200 results then the ASX and ASIC will be all over the Coy and the stupid buyer(s) for making it so obvious. But it was definitely some manic 'Big Boy' buying there.

Maybe it was just a great lunch!
