After a second look at the website I think there are a couple of stand out points for me.
1. All of the Pulsars are now available for 4 day rental. Previously most were 7 days. From memory I think only 1 was always available for 4 days.
2. The statement 'Book your car for 7 - 365 days and save $$$' is a new message. It implies to me that they are looking to introduce a revised pricing structure with discounts for 7 day plus rentals. This would only affect the pulsars and maybe the vans at this stage but it is interesting to see where they are positioning their messaging.
IMO It really looks to me like they are preparing for a repositioning of the brand into the 4 day plus rental market. They just need the supply from the corporate fleets.
IMO This is just the beginning of a significant transformation into a real competitor in the car rental space.
