That was a surprised to me.
Also the LOM plan is has been reduced by about 7-8 months from what I can tell.
Not a lot of after-tax free cashflow to be made from this project, and the payback period is over 3 years. IRR is OKish.
It is a lot of effort for not a lot of gain, at this stage. They think they can extend its life, but they have been saying this for years.
But it is better than nothing and money should be flowing in in 12 months. Whatever profit they make will go towards their next project in the Ivory Coast, which is the big hope.
