I’ve never had more than an idle thought or two about Bonsai.
Doris bought a couple of overpriced, Bunnings type fig bonsais 3-4years ago just before we moved family to big smoke. I managed to keep them alive but they struggled so it took them to Perth and she placed them in the most shaded window she could find and rarely watered them. I need a couple more years to convince her that they could go outside
Then I Made the mistake of taking her to the Thai soup kitchen at the Wanneroo Markets!! She found a bonsai place and over the next 6 months she made me buy 3. They’re a bit slow growing for me and I have no idea what I should do with them other than the basics.
My only joy out of the 5 of them is that I haven’t killed any of them, yet
