The only piece that got 2 votes was The MIL’s Chook, that was a given though as I thought of the piece as The Short Necked Goose and had put a hole in it and planted a Bromeliad when MIL spotted it, said she liked my old chook at the front door but lambasted me for putting a plant in it.
Out came the plant, in went some wire and I turned an old piece of jarrah into an egg so I could fill up the hole.
Next time she saw it I explained that I had changed the name to pay homage to her inspirational advice!
She loved it until I told her the new moniker, jumped to the conclusion that I was having a laugh at her, told me I couldn’t call it the old chook and was I calling her an old chook?
I was very lucky, I had almost said Old Chook but caught myself in time.
I got to say, you may think that you’re an old chook Jane but I would never say that!!
So I only need to choose 2 others pieces.
And yes, I’m sure they all picked different to help me.
They are always trying to help, confuse me (it doesn’t take much).
