Of course there is the question put to the European board that there being no alternative to the device that would it be humane to not let it pass.
Pancreatic cancer is a death sentence to put it bluntly. So some hope is better than none. Generally when this type of cancer is found its too late to operate. If OSL can reduce the size of the tumour then an operation could become feasible. At present it would be negligible to reject as there nothing else that can help.
