A good example of a sedex deposit, which is being drilled right now is Fireweed Zinc’s Tom and Jason deposits (50Mt @ just below 10% ZnEq) in Yukon, Canada. (FWZ on the Toronto Venture) Tom is actually the first deposit to be classified as sedex (discovered in the ‘60s) and if it was located further south and closer to tidewater, would have been mined out decades ago. Sedex are known for consistency of the deposit and engineers may allow spacing to be relaxed on the drilling.
