Agree with the 98 posts rubbish. But disagree about losing the rods. Had geophysicist friends working for Santos and would receive live updates from drill sites on tbeir phones, delays due to rods breaking, dropping, snapping, needing replacement happens all the time. This doesn't bother me one bit and doesn't indicate they don't know what they're doing. Anyone who has had exposure to drilling and testing whether shallow or deep will be able to tell you this sort of stuff does happen and won't delay anything for very long.
