Its hard to fathom what this deal en tales and the size of it and where these government entities want to take it and that talk is industrialisation .
Management achieved the best possible outcome for shareholders to get this across the line, Yes its a 25.5 ( NMDC) /25.5 (NLC) /49 (ECT)
split but what does everyone expect the Indians to provide all the funds and get minimal in return ( come on if I was the Indians I would have asked for more) at the end of the day they are taking most of the risk.
If we kept the original and had to pay a third of the demo plant ie 12 million that would have been a big ask. To be almost free carried on the demo plant and free carried on the 300 million Commercial plant - kudos to management. It's amazing the keyboard warriors all could have done a better deal. Look at the pressure management were under from shareholders get the damn deal signed at whatever cost, now that it is signed - we could
have asked for more is that always the case. Human nature when you win your mind always thinks i should have put more in or asked for more that way I could have doubled.
It's funny how that the Board decision is upon us that the negativity will be more prevailent.
AT the end of the day in the current market to find any company to fork out 35 million on an R&D plant is a hard ask that's why it's called the commercialisation valley of death. To almost free carried across the valley is a big thumbs up to management.
This is what is going to attract the Big Players not the little day traders on Hot copper - might not happen overnight but it will happen.
Cheers

PS - Keep in mind India has a population of over a billion and Australia has a population of ~26 million. With 2 Indian government entities backing Matmor , what do you think this deal is worth especially when they receive 25.5% of the royalties each??
